About the Artist

Hi, I’m Madysen—the artist and maker behind Kovac Carvings + Prints.

By day, I’m a nurse and mom, but I've always loved having a creative outlet. I found my passion for printmaking back in high school, and have done it as a hobby since. Now I’m taking a leap of faith to share my art with you all.

What I love most about printmaking is that every step feels intentional. There’s a little (sometimes a lot of) trial and error involved, plenty of calloused hands, and always that moment of anticipation when you peel the paper back to see the finished print.

I’m inspired by the things that make me feel at home like the South, nature, books, food, or places you've traveled. I love creating pieces that feel both simple and special, whether it's a print for your own walls or a custom piece made to celebrate a person, place, or memory.

This little business is a way for me to share something I genuinely love creating, and I’m so grateful you're here to be part of it.
